Overview of Conferencing Tools

For video meetings there are many useful tools for desktop sharing, online meetings and video conferences. DTU has free access to different conference systems and you can read more about them on this page.

Description

When having a video meeting, you can use different conference systems. LearningLab and AIT has made a guide to help you choose between different conference systems available at DTU. In the guide you will find a short description of each system and recommendations to what we find it useful for. We have also tried to gather what difficulties and benefits the system might have.

Good for one-to-many scenarios – fx Lectures, but can very well also be used for few-to-few

Cisco/fast hardware

Good on- to-many (as many as can fit in the specialized rooms). A DTU room with Cisco-systems installed is usually equipped with several cameras and fx 2 screens.High comfort for the meeting attendees.
